  Public Affairs Program Speakers at these events are prominent people in the world of international affairs, from acclaimed authors, to Nobel laureates, to high-ranking UN officials. Their remarks are followed by a lively and well-informed question-and-answer session.

Global Policy Innovations: www.policyinnovations.org GPI publishes Policy Innovations,an online magazine that covers innovative ideas for a fairer globalization. The articles are drawn from the program's worldwide network, accessible to readers through a resource database.

Workshops for Ethics in Business Global Policy Innovations presents Workshops for Ethics in Business, a one-of-a-kind forum that brings together top corporations and NGOs in a civilized setting to share innovative ideas for addressing ethical issues related to globalization.

Annual Morgenthau Memorial Lecture Series Named for famed international relations scholar Hans Morgenthau, the annual Morgenthau Memorial Lecture series is the longest-running public education initiative of the Carnegie Council.

New Leaders Program This Program offers members an opportunity to study and to learn together with other young professionals from a variety of sectors, including academia, business, media, law, government, and civil society. By invitation only, members must be under 40, with a demonstrated interest in international affairs.

Faculty Development The Council convenes faculty development workshops for university faculty looking to incorporate aspects of ethics and international affairs into their curricula or research projects.

Foreign Policy Roundtables Invitation-only sessions for academics, policy experts and journalists to scrutinize recently published works or works in progress.

American Military Power: An Ethical Inquiry (Public Affairs Program Series) The projection of American power brings with it certain duties and responsibilities. These imperatives are framed by three factors: unmatched technical capacity; the force's professional character; and threat perception.

A Fairer Globalization (Public Affairs Program Series) Can we imagine policies that will both unleash and harness global wealth and power to promote opportunity and freedom for all? This series gives a voice to positive ideas for a fair and just globalization.

The Resurgence of Religion in Politics (Public Affairs Program Series) Religious fervor is growing, reshaping the identities and actions of an increasingly large number of people around the world, from Africa to the Americas. What does this mix of faith-based and pluralistic politics mean for the future?
