Sun-Young Kwak

Sun-Young Kwak is a Ph.D. candidate in political theory at the University of Southern California, specializing in cultural property issues.

Drawing on discourse analysis and cultural studies, her work examines philosophical debates on cultural rights from a public policy perspective.

Kwak became interested in controversies over cultural artifacts that are closely tied to social identities while an undergraduate in French Language and Literature at Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.
