Richard Vernon is Professor of Political Science, and Co-director of the Nationalism and Ethnic Conflict Research Group, at The University of Western Ontario. He teaches political philosophy, and his current research is in issues of global ethics.
His major publications include The Career of Toleration (1997: Winner of the C.B.Macpherson Prize for Political Theory), Political Morality (2001), and Friends, Citizens, Strangers (2006).
