Lieutenant General Peter W. Chiarelli
Lieutenant General Peter W. Chiarelli is the Special Assistant to the Commander of the United States Central Command for the Development of Regional Military Capability.

From November of 2005 through February 2006, he served as the Commander of the Multi-National Corps in Iraq.

From March to November 2005 he was Commanding General, 1st Cavalry Division, Fort Hood, Texas, and from March 2004 to Febuary 2005 he was Commanding General, 1st Cavalry Division, Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq.
