Paul Berman is a political and literary journalist who has reported from various countries in Latin America and Europe and has commented frequently on American foreign policy. His books include Passion of Joschka Fischer, A Tale of Two Utopias: The Political Journey of the Generation of 1968, and, most recently, Terror and Liberalism.
He is a senior fellow at the World Policy Institute, a contributing editor to the New Republic and a member of the editorial board of Dissent.
