John McHale is Professor of Economics and a faculty research fellow at the Queen’s School of Business, Queen’s University, Canada. He received Ph.D. and A.M degrees from Harvard in 1996, where he also served as Assistant and later Associate Professor. His current research focuses on causes and consequences of international migration. He is the coauthor, with Devesh Kapur, of Give Us Your Best and Brightest: The Global Hunt for Talent And Its Impact on the Developing World (2005).
