| Jane A. Margold is an anthropologist and activist who has written extensively about violence against women in the context of factory work in the Philippines and transnational labor migration. As a member of GABRIELA Network and a founding member of the Bay Area Anti-Trafficking Coalition, her research and advocacy now focus upon forms of coerced migration, such as the trafficking of women to the United States for sexual and labor exploitation. |
