Daniella Leifer

Daniella Leifer is a student in the MBA program at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College with a background in environmental studies from Cornell University. Her first venture into green business began with a student project to collect and resell discarded clothing and other items from college students leaving for summer vacation.
A founding member of Net Impact/the Sustainable Business Club at Baruch, she currently serves as club secretary, helping to organize club events and speakers in order to build awareness and interest in sustainable business at Baruch. She is also a contributing writer on sustainability-related issues for the Graduate Voice magazine at Baruch. She has been involved with the CUNY Building Performance Lab (part of the CUNY Institute for Urban Systems) as an energy efficiency program intern for the past three semesters, most recently working on behalf of Sustainable South Bronx where she drafted a business plan submission for the William James Foundation Social Entrepreneurship Competition and earned Honorable Mention on behalf of the organization. |
