Christine Bader
Christine Bader was appointed Manager of Policy Development at BP on 1 November 2004. She is currently on secondment as an Advisor to the UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on business and human rights, Professor John Ruggie.

Since joining BP, Bader has lived in Indonesia, China, and the U.K., where she has worked to strengthen the company’s understanding and performance on social issues, and held roles in investor relations and corporate planning. 

Bader has also served as a corps member with City Year; a Teaching Fellow in Community Service at Phillips Academy in Andover; and a Special Assistant to Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s Chief of Staff and Deputy Mayor for Community Development and Business Services.

Bader has a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.B.A. from Yale University. She is a New York City native.
