Charles W. Kegley, Jr. is Pearce Professor of International Relations at the University of South Carolina. He served as president of the International Studies Association from 1993 to 1994. He has recently co-authored, with Gregory A. Raymond, The Imperiled Imperium: America and the Erosion of Global Security (2006).
