Anthony Burke is Senior Lecturer in International Relations at the University of New South Wales, Sydney. He is the author of In Fear of Security: Australia's Invasion Anxiety (2001).
He has two new books forthcoming in 2006: Beyond Security, Ethics and Violence: War against the Other and Critical Security in the Asia-Pacific (coedited with Matt McDonald).
He is currently working on an Australian Research Council-funded project on the politics and ethics of the use of force.
