Anne Gathumbi-Masheti is a women’s rights activist and the coordinator of the Coalition on Violence Against Women (COVAW) in Kenya. She is a lawyer and a community development practitioner with ten years of experience in both the development and human rights sectors in Kenya. At COVAW, she has spearheaded outreach, advocacy, and lobbying for policy and legal reform as well as legal aid programs.
