Alda Facio is a lawyer, scholar, and feminist activist with experience in both grassroots movements and formal legal and UN contexts. She is a founder and first Director of the Women’s Caucus for Gender Justice at the International Criminal Court and is currently Director of the Women, Gender and Justice Program at the United Nations Latin American Institute for Crime Prevention.
