Alberto J. Mora

Alberto J. Mora

Alberto J. Mora is the former General Counsel of the United States Navy.

From 1982 to 2001 he was Of Counsel to the law firm of Greenberg Traurig, where he specialized in international law.

Mr. Mora served in the U.S. State Department as a Foreign Service Officer from 1975 to 1978, being posted to the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal, as a political officer and subsequently to Washington, D.C., where his responsibilities centered on the United Nations system. From 1989 to 1993, he served in the Bush administration as General Counsel of the United States Information Agency, where he was awarded the Distinguished Honor Award, the Agency's highest recognition.
