What challenges do Muslims face in their homeland? What happens after they immigrate to the Western world? How do they overcome these challenges, and adjust to their new lives? In her book, Muslims of Metropolis: The Stories of Three Immigrant Families in the West, Kavitha Rajagopalan follows three Muslim immigrant families—a Palestinian family from Jerusalem to London, a Kurdish family from Turkey to Berlin, and a Bangladeshi family to New York City—through their journey.
