The Economic and Strategic Rise of China and India

Asian Realignments after the 1997 Financial Crisis

David Denoon

Wednesday, June 11, 2008 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM

Description:
David Denoon demonstrates how the rapidly changing economic scene in Asia is leading to important strategic realignments as well. Although U.S. bilateral treaties are likely to continue, China's growing economic profile has already led several smaller states in Asia to re-orient their foreign policies and more adjustments are on the way.
