Carnegie Council Headquarters, New York City
The Carnegie Council is the leading voice promoting ethical leadership on issues of war, peace, religion in politics, and global social justice.

MISSION
The Carnegie Council's mission is to be the voice for ethics in international policy. It convenes agenda-setting forums and creates educational opportunities and information resources for a worldwide audience of teachers and students, journalists, international affairs professionals, and concerned citizens.

INDEPENDENCE
The Carnegie Council is independent and nonpartisan. We encourage and give a voice to a variety of ethical approaches to the most challenging moral issues in world politics. The Council is valued for its innovative thinking, intellectual integrity, and practical guidance featuring specific examples of ethical principles in action.

WHAT WE OFFER
The Carnegie Council focuses its efforts on three broad themes: Ethics, War and Peace, Global Social Justice and Religion in Politics. In addition to its extensive public affairs lectures, the Council offers a broad array of reference material. Our flagship publication is our quarterly journal, Ethics & International Affairs. We also offer a free electronic newsletter and a regular print Bulletin.

ONLINE RESOURCES
The bulk of our resources are now online. We invite you to watch video interviews and talks; listen to podcasts and audios; and read scholarly articles, opinion pieces, and up-to-the-minute transcripts of talks on current affairs.
