Matthew Hennessey mhennessey@cceia.org

Matthew Hennessey is Assistant Editor of Policy Innovations online magazine. He has been with the Carnegie Council since joining the Global Policy Innovations program in August 2006. A frequent contributor to both Policy Innovations, the Fairer Globalization blog, and the Ethical Blogger, Hennessey contributes to the Council's Interviews with Educators and provides program support to the Council's Ethics, War, and Peace theme area.

Hennessey has worked for several statewide political campaigns and for the New York Post. He holds a BA, summa cum laude, in Political Science from CUNY-Hunter College and an MA from Fordham University.

In the past, Hennessey worked as an actor in New York and Los Angeles. He starred in the independent film Bandwagon, which was in competition at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival and has enjoyed a long life on video and cable TV.
