Kei Hiruta

Kei Hiruta khiruta@cceia.org
Kei Hiruta is a Carnegie-Uehiro Fellow at the Carnegie Council for Ethics in International Affairs. He also holds an appointment as Research Associate at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in Oxford University. His research interests are in the areas of political theory, political ideologies, and twentieth-century political thought, with a particular interest in the idea of pluralism. He is currently working on several projects to mark the centenary of the birth of the philosopher Isaiah Berlin in 2009.

Hiruta holds a B.A. from Keio University (Tokyo), an M.A. from Essex University, and an M.Sc. from Oxford University. He is currently completing a doctorate in political theory at Oxford University.
