JOHN TESSITORE REJOINS THE COUNCIL
We are pleased to welcome back John Tessitore as Executive Editor of the Carnegie Council. John was the Council's Communications Director and Editor-in-Chief from 1980-1986. Subsequently he spent 18 years as Executive Director of Communications at the United Nations Association. For the past four years he has served as Senior Editor to the UN Development Programme and other UN agencies, and has worked on numerous Council projects as well. For more information read his bio.

ISA-West -- Internatinal Studies Association-WestInternational Studies Association-West invites paper, panel, and roundtable proposals on all aspects of international studies for its upcoming 2007 conference to be held in San Francisco, CA on September 29-30, 2007. Especially welcome are papers around the theme, "Diverse Ethics in a Pluralistic World." The 2007 conference will feature a keynote address by ISA President Jack Levy and a lunchtime talk by Richard Falk. Proposals are due to isawest@gmail.com by May 31, 2007.
